Accountant – Job Description
Job Title: Accountant
Department: Accounts & Finance
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
Handle Tally/ERP entries, GST, TDS, invoicing, and billing.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash/bank records.
Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and balance-sheet-related data.
Process vendor and customer payments and follow up on outstanding dues.
Maintain purchase and sales invoices and expense records.
Assist with GST returns, TDS returns, audits, and statutory compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with CA/auditors when required.
Requirements: B.Com/M.Com or relevant qualification, knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel, understanding of GST/TDS, and 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
