Job Description

  • Accountant – Tours & TravelComplete day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices
  • Verify vendor/supplier invoices
  • Handle GST invoicing and GST compliance
  • Check correct GST rates, SAC codes, place of supply and tax applicability
  • Prepare GST sales/purchase data and reconciliations
  • Coordinate for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other GST requirements
  • Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and returns
  • Prepare TDS certificates and related reconciliations
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Customer outstanding follow-up and reconciliation
  • Vendor ledger reconciliation and payment processing
  • Bank reconciliation and cash/bank transactions
  • Petty cash management
  • Tour/package-wise costing and profitability
  • Accounting for air tickets, hotel bookings, transport, visa and other travel services
  • Handle advance receipts, refunds, cancellations and adjustments
  • Maintain debit notes and credit notes
  • Reconcile payment gateways, credit cards, UPI and online bookings
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports
  • Prepare expense, revenue and profitability reports
  • Assist in monthly closing and finalization of accounts
  • Coordinate with CA/auditors for GST, TDS, audit and statutory requirements
  • Maintain all accounting and tax-related records and supporting documents
  • Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and filing of returns
  • Handle income-tax-related accounting and documentation and coordinate with the CA
  • Support year-end finalization, audit and financial statements
