Job Description:

We are looking for a Bakery Commis to join our central kitchen team at La Grange.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other bakery products.
  • Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in quality.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage and labelling of ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and equipment.
  • Follow food safety standards and FIFO practices.
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure timely production and dispatch.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of bakery techniques and ingredients.
  • Prior experience in a bakery or professional kitchen preferred.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage daily production requirements.
