Dental Assistant / Dental Sister
Arcis Dental Clinic – Magarpatta, Pune
We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic and patient-friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. Candidates should have basic knowledge of dental chairside assistance, sterilisation procedures and patient management.
Job Details
* Position: Dental Assistant / Dental Sister
* Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with basic dental knowledge are welcome)
* Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
* Location: Magarpatta, Pune
* Joining: Immediate preferred
Key Responsibilities
1. Chairside Assistance
* Assist dentists during scaling, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions and other procedures.
* Handle dental suction and basic chairside instruments.
* Prepare instruments, trays and materials before treatments.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental chair.
2. Sterilisation & Hygiene
* Basic knowledge of instrument cleaning, disinfection and autoclave sterilisation.
* Follow infection-control protocols and biomedical waste segregation.
* Maintain proper instrument storage and sterilisation records.
3. Patient Handling & Appointments
* Greet patients warmly and communicate politely.
* Schedule, confirm and coordinate appointments.
* Handle phone calls, patient reminders and follow-ups.
* Guide patients with basic instructions as directed by the dentist.
4. Clinic Management
* Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene.
* Organise dental materials and monitor stock.
* Assist with daily clinic operations.
* Ensure smooth patient flow and timely chair preparation.
Candidate Requirements
* 0–2 years of experience.
* Basic understanding of dental procedures and instruments.
* Good communication skills in Hindi and Marathi; basic English preferred.
* Polite, presentable, punctual and professional.
* Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
* Responsible, organised and committed to patient care.
