Role Description

The Firewall Governance team is embedded in the TDI CSO ISPS organization and ensures that the bank-wide firewall infrastructure and related connectivity requests and changes are securely managed, and respective policies and controls are in place.

This team provides the following services to the global Deutsche Bank franchise:

• Firewall Governance Security and Risk Analyses

• Technical Architecture Reviews of Network Components

• Risk-Assessing Network Interfaces and Network Zoning Diagrams

• GCP/Azure firewall rules Risk Governance

• Audit and compliance deliverables

This is a role in the team, and the selected candidate will be responsible for cloud security operations, firewall connectivity requests, re-certification task, smaller projects and working with ITAO (application owner).

Your key responsibilities

• Regularly rule review and governance of firewall connectivity request, with a focus on cloud security.

• Review & analyze the GCP/Azure connectivity KOP/KOD maintenance with focus on cloud technologies and best practices.

• Implement and manage governance framework, including cloud security best practices.

• In the pursuit of continuous improvement, evaluate new tools and technologies for the process optimization.

Your skills and experience

• The candidate should have 5 years of Network and Security experience with min 3+ years of working in cloud operations team.

• Familiarity with cloud security engineering, network, and system terminology. Experience in data networking is a plus.

• Hands-on and working experience in cloud security operation.

• Analyze and optimize technical and business processes.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and 3rd party tool.

• Understanding risk assessment, regulatory standards, vulnerability etc.

• Should be able to work independently with little supervision in a global and fast speed environment.

• Nice to have experience or familiarity in web application firewall.

• Should be highly organized and can drive multiple tasks or initiatives. Experience in Terraform; PRISMA & SENTINEL.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pre-requisites: The candidates should have basic level of training in following topics

• GCP and Azure.

• Networking and Firewall concepts.

• Terraform and GitHub.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
