HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions. Coordinate background checks and reference checks. Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers regarding workplace policies, conflict resolution, and performance management. Conduct investigations and exit interviews as needed.
• Benefits & Payroll Support: Administer employee benefits programs (health, retirement, leave of absence). Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Compliance & Policy: Maintain compliance as per labour laws. Update and enforce the employee handbook and company policies. Maintain confidential personnel files.
• HR Systems: Maintain accurate data and generate reports on key HR metrics like turnover and time-to-hire.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local labour laws and employment regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding emotional intelligence, conflict-resolution skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
