Job Inspector Cum Workshop Supervisor

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Job Inspector cum Workshop Supervisor to ensure quality control of components and supervise daily workshop operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining production quality, managing shop floor activities, and ensuring timely completion of jobs.

• Key ResponsibilitiesJob InspectionInspect raw materials, in-process, and finished components
• Verify dimensions as per drawings using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
• Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
• Identify defects and take corrective actions with production team
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
• Workshop SupervisionSupervise daily workshop and shop floor activities
• Allocate work to operators and monitor productivity
• Ensure proper machine utilization (CNC, VMC, Lathe, etc.)
• Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness in the workshop
• Monitor job progress and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with planning, purchase, and quality departments
• Handle manpower and resolve shop floor issues

• Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical or related field
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and techniques
• Basic understanding of CNC/VMC machining processes
• Leadership and team management skills
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reports handling)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

• Preferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or machining industry
• Knowledge of quality standards and workshop processes
