Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Kit Assembly & Packaging

• Assemble and package STEM kits as per approved SOPs and work instructions.
• Verify that all required components are included in each kit before packaging.
• Arrange, label, and organize kit contents accurately.
• Ensure packaging quality, cleanliness, and professional presentation.
• Prepare finished kits for shipment and dispatch.
• Maintain production targets while ensuring accuracy and quality.

2. Inventory Management

• Count, sort, and organize electronic components and packaging materials.
• Maintain inventory records and stock levels.
• Report shortages, damaged materials, or inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials.
• Ensure proper identification and storage of components and finished goods.

3. Quality Verification

• Perform visual inspection and basic verification of components before packaging.
• Identify defective, missing, or damaged parts.
• Follow quality control procedures and checklists.

4. Production Documentation

• Maintain daily production and packaging records.
• Update inventory and stock movement records.
• Complete production checklists and quality verification reports.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.

5. Vendor & Material Coordination

• Assist in tracking material availability and purchase requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries and material shortages when required.
• Support procurement activities related to production materials.

6. Production Support

• Assist in prototype kit preparation and internal sample builds.
• Support continuous improvement of production and packaging processes.
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily and monthly production goals.
• Perform other production-related activities assigned by management.
