Regional Legal Manager

Legal Advisory & Risk Management

• Provide legal advice and support to regional business teams on operational, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks.
• Support management in strategic decision-making from a legal perspective.
• Ensure business activities comply with local, state, and national laws.

Contract Management

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, lease agreements, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Monitor contractual obligations and advise stakeholders on legal implications.
• Maintain contract repository and ensure proper documentation.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

• Manage civil, criminal, labor, consumer, and commercial litigation matters.
• Coordinate with external legal counsels and represent the organization during legal proceedings as required.
• Track ongoing cases and provide regular updates to management.
• Develop strategies for dispute prevention and resolution.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, labor laws, corporate laws, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct compliance audits and legal risk assessments.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting the business and recommend necessary actions.
• Support implementation of policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business leaders, HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Compliance teams.
• Conduct legal awareness and compliance training programs.
• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external agencies when required.

Governance & Documentation

• Draft and review legal notices, responses, policies, and internal legal documents.
• Ensure proper maintenance of legal records and documentation.
• Assist in corporate governance and board-related legal requirements.
