Job Title: Head – Supply Chain Management (SCM) Department: Supply Chain / Procurement

Job Summary -

We are looking for an experienced SCM Head to lead and manage the complete supply chain function, including procurement, vendor management, material planning, logistics, inventory control, and project material coordination. The candidate should have strong experience in EPC/Infrastructure/Renewable Energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Supply Chain Management function for multiple projects.

• Develop and implement procurement and SCM strategies aligned with project requirements.

• Plan and monitor material requirements based on project schedules and BOQ.

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from enquiry to final delivery.

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop reliable vendors.

• Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, and commercial conditions.

• Review and approve vendor quotations and comparative statements.

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of critical project materials.

• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Stores, Accounts, and Management teams.

• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely material dispatch and delivery.

• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.

• Monitor inventory levels and avoid overstocking or material shortages.

• Ensure proper documentation for procurement, logistics, and material movement.

• Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Handle vendor performance evaluation and corrective actions.

• Manage logistics, transportation, and material delivery to project sites.

• Establish SCM policies, SOPs, and approval processes.

• Prepare and present procurement and SCM MIS reports to management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.

• Lead and mentor the SCM, Purchase, and Logistics team. Key Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Commerce, or related field.

• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations/Procurement will be an advantage.

• 8–12+ years of relevant experience, preferably in EPC, Solar, Wind, BESS, Infrastructure, or Engineering industries.
