Role Overview

Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse and store operations at the Patalganga manufacturing facility. The role involves material receipt, inward inspection coordination, inventory record-keeping, issuance to production, dispatch documentation, and maintaining warehouse safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Inward & GRN: Inspect incoming raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and spares against Delivery Challans and Purchase Orders; prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
• Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain accurate daily stock registers and digital inventory ledgers; conduct weekly/monthly physical cycle counts to ensure zero shrinkage or discrepancies.
• Storage & Chemical Safety: Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and safe storage of materials adhering to standard plant safety protocols and FIFO methods.
• Production Issuance: Issue raw materials and engineering consumables to production lines strictly against authorized Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
• Dispatch Support: Assist with finished goods staging, verify physical loading against dispatch documents, and prepare Gate Passes and Delivery Challans.
• Store Upkeep: Maintain 5S standards across storage bays, monitor scrap/empty containers, and report slow-moving or damaged stock.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / BA) or Diploma in Material Management.
• Experience: 5-10 years of storekeeping experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing plant.
• Key Skills: MS Excel, basic inventory, software, stock register maintenance, and material inward/outward documentation.
