Assistant Manager – Insurance Sales and Operations
Job type: Full time
Work location type: Work from office (on site)
Location: Le Desire Complex, Circular Road, Lalpur, Ranchi, Jharkhand
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Experience: 3 to 6 years (at least 2 years in insurance, banking or financial services sales)
Education: Graduate (any stream). Commerce or MBA is a plus.

About the job
We help groups, associations and families choose the right insurance cover. We are looking for an Assistant Manager to run our insurance work in Ranchi. You will lead a small telecalling team, handle client meetings and make sure policies are issued smoothly.
What you will do
• Lead and guide a team of insurance telecallers, and help them meet daily and monthly targets.
• Meet clients and groups, explain term and group insurance plans in simple words, and prepare quotations.
• Follow up on leads, close sales and keep customers happy after the sale.
• Work with insurance company contacts on proposals, medical checks, policy issue and claims.
• Keep daily and weekly reports on calls, leads, sales and renewals.
• Make sure all work follows insurance rules and company policy.
What we need
• 3 to 6 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in insurance, banking or financial services sales.
• Experience of leading or training a small team.
• Good Hindi and English. Comfortable speaking with clients.
• Basic MS Excel and MS Word skills.
• Based in Ranchi, or ready to move there.
• IRDAI (insurance regulator) licence or POSP certificate is a plus. If you do not have one, you must be ready to get it.
