Waiter / Steward

Reports To: F&B Manager / Café Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Service: Welcome and assist guests professionally, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
2. Table Setup: Maintain clean, properly arranged tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, and service areas.
3. Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and according to café standards.
4. Clearing & Cleaning: Clear used crockery and maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas throughout operations.
5. Service Support: Coordinate with the kitchen, reception, and other service staff for smooth and timely service.
6. Hygiene & Grooming: Follow personal hygiene, grooming, uniform, and food-safety standards at all times.
7. Guest Assistance: Respond courteously to guest requests and immediately report complaints or special requirements to the supervisor.
8. Closing Duties:

• Ensure service areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned, organized, and ready for the next shift.
• Core ExpectationsMaintain a professional and courteous attitude with guests and colleagues.
• Demonstrate teamwork, punctuality, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Follow all café SOPs, hygiene standards, and service procedures.
• Minimize breakage and wastage of crockery, cutlery, and other service items.
