Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring. The candidate will ensure that all electrical installations and maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, switches, sockets, and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, breakdowns, and short circuits.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential safety hazards.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety across the facility.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable electrical regulations.
- Coordinate with other maintenance teams and contractors when required.
