Job Description
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries.
- Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and other guest communications.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update booking information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping regarding room status, cleaning, and guest requests.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues politely and promptly.
- Prepare and maintain bills, payments, and basic front-office records.
- Inform guests about hotel facilities, services, policies, and nearby attractions.
- Ensure the reception/front desk area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
- Maintain proper shift handover and communicate important information to the next shift.
- Follow hotel standards for guest service, safety, security, and confidentiality.
- Assist with other front-office duties as required by the hotel management.
- Assist with basic housekeeping duties when required, especially during busy periods or staff shortages.
- Coordinate and support room cleaning, linen changes, and maintaining room cleanliness.
- Ensure guest rooms and common areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
- Be flexible in assisting other hotel departments when required.
