Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of complete hands-on experience in the Real Estate industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of real estate accounting, project accounts, GST, TDS, vendor/customer reconciliation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete day-to-day accounting operations for real estate projects.

Handle project-wise accounting, expenses, revenue, and cost tracking.

Maintain customer, vendor, contractor, and project ledgers.

Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Verify and process vendor, contractor, and supplier invoices.

Perform bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.

Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to the business.

Prepare GST workings, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GST reconciliations.

Handle TDS calculations, payments, and return filings.

Monitor customer collections, outstanding payments, and receivables.

Track vendor and contractor payments and outstanding liabilities.

Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, MIS, and project-wise financial reports.

Monitor project expenses against budgets and identify variances.

Coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents for audits.

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial controls.

Provide financial and accounting reports to management as required.

Required Skills

Mandatory: 3–5 years of experience specifically in the Real Estate industry.

Strong knowledge of real estate/project accounting.

Hands-on experience with Tally Prime or relevant ERP/accounting software.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Strong knowledge of MS Excel.

Experience in customer collections, vendor payments, project costing, and reconciliations.

Good understanding of real estate transactions and project-related expenses.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to independently manage accounting activities.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.

3–5 years of complete relevant experience in Real Estate Accounting.

Salary

Up to ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
