Junior Engineer NPD

Key Responsibilities:

      • Support new product development and product launch activities.

      • Study customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.

      • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tooling, and Engineering teams.

      • Support APQP & PPAP documentation.

      • Prepare/assist with PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow and other NPD documents.

      • Support prototype, sample development and trial production.

      • Track development schedules and ensure timely completion.

      • Support customer technical queries and requirements.

      • Assist in resolving product and process-related issues.

      • Support engineering changes and maintain technical documentation.

      • Participate in Kaizen, cost reduction and process improvement activities.

      • Prepare NPD status reports and maintain development records.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of NPD / Product Development.

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan & Process Flow.

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

• Basic knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.

• Good analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

• CAD knowledge – AutoCAD / SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo / NX is an advantage.
