Job Description
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and required standards.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly stored, and handled safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meat, sauces, and spices.
- Monitor food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage kitchen supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
Work effectively with other kitchen staff during busy periods.
