Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – MANUFACTURING COMPANY

URGENT REQUIREMENT | IMMEDIATE JOINING PREFERRED

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to independently handle the company’s accounting and statutory compliance.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, sincere, detail-oriented and willing to take complete ownership of the accounts function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts.
• Handle finalisation of accounts.
• Prepare and review ledgers, journal entries, trial balance, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Handle GST compliance and return filing.
• Handle GST ITC reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely filings.
• Handle TDS and other applicable statutory returns.
• Conduct regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.
• Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and files.
• Coordinate with the CA, auditors and tax consultants as required.
• Assist with audits and provide required schedules and documentation.
• Ensure all accounting and statutory compliances are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them independently.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of accounting, GST and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in finalisation of accounts and filing of returns.
• Should be capable of independently handling the complete accounts function.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
• CA Inter / ICWA Inter preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years

QUALIFICATION: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (PREFERRED) / ICWA Inter or equivalent (PREFERRED)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time | On-site
