Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, organized, and responsible Fashion Designer & Design Assistant to work closely with the management team. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day sampling activities, colour matching, fabric and embroidery coordination, client requirements, and overall design-related work.

• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day sampling work from concept to final sample.
• Coordinate with embroidery, fabric, dyeing, printing and production teams.
• Perform colour matching for fabrics, embroidery, threads, sequins and other materials.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with clients regarding design, colour, fabric and sampling.
• Prepare and maintain sample collections and design references.
• Follow up on pending samples and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and internal departments when required.
• Maintain records of samples, colour references, client requirements and approvals.
• Assist in developing new designs, colour combinations and fashion concepts.
• Manage and organize the manager's day-to-day design-related tasks and requirements.
• Communicate client feedback to the relevant teams and ensure corrections are completed.
• Check finished samples for colour, quality, design and overall appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of company designs, samples and client information.
• Handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Candidate RequirementsDegree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design or related field preferred.
• Experience in textile, embroidery, fashion or garment sampling will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of colours, fabrics, embroidery and fashion trends.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and basic computer skills.
• Should be proactive, responsible and comfortable working closely with management.
• Freshers with strong design knowledge may also apply, but experience in textile sampling will be preferred.
