1. Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly responsible, experienced, proactive and result-oriented individual to independently handle day-to-day construction site operations.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, managing labour and contractors, coordinating with vendors, resolving site-related issues and ensuring that work progresses smoothly as per the instructions and expectations of the Owner.

This is a completely on-field job, requiring regular site visits, hands-on involvement and the ability to take responsibility for getting work executed rather than simply reporting problems.

2. Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesA. On-Field Site Management

• Regularly remain present at construction sites and supervise daily activities.
• Monitor ongoing construction work and ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labourers, engineers and vendors.
• Ensure that workers are carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain discipline and proper coordination among all site personnel.
• Take ownership of site activities and ensure work progresses without unnecessary delays.

B. Construction Requirements & Problem Solving

• Identify day-to-day construction requirements well in advance.
• Arrange materials, labour, machinery and other resources required at the site.
• Handle and resolve routine on-site technical and operational issues.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and consultants whenever required.
• Identify potential problems before they affect the construction schedule.
• Ensure proper utilisation of construction materials and minimise wastage.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Escalate major technical, financial or structural decisions to the Owner before proceeding.

C. Regular Reporting to the Owner

• Provide regular updates to the Owner regarding site progress.
• Share daily work reports, including completed work, pending activities and upcoming requirements.
• Immediately inform the Owner about major issues, delays, additional expenses or unexpected developments.
• Maintain regular communication through phone calls, WhatsApp, photographs and videos.
• Follow up on all instructions given by the Owner until the task is completed.
• Never leave an issue unattended or assume that reporting a problem is equivalent to resolving it.

D. Follow-Up & Execution

• Ensure that every assigned task is followed up until completion.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.
• Monitor work schedules and ensure that deadlines are met.
• Follow up on pending materials, payments, deliveries and labour requirements with the concerned persons.
• Maintain a record of daily progress and pending work.
• Take initiative and ensure that the Owner does not have to repeatedly remind or follow up on assigned responsibilities.

E. Quality, Safety & Site Discipline

• Ensure construction work meets the required quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and identify defects or poor-quality execution.
• Ensure materials are stored and utilised properly.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline and safety at the construction site.
• Report accidents, safety concerns or damage immediately.
• Ensure contractors and workers follow site instructions.
• 3. Working Days & Leave PolicyThis is a full-time, six-day-plus operational responsibility requiring flexibility based on project requirements.
• Sunday is a regular working day. No Sunday leave will ordinarily be permitted.
• Weekly working schedules and any compensatory rest, wherever applicable, will be managed in accordance with applicable employment laws.
• Leave will be permitted only in exceptional or special circumstances and must be approved in advance by the Owner.
• Unauthorised absence or frequent leave will not be acceptable.
• The candidate must be available to attend to urgent site requirements whenever necessary.
• 4. Candidate RequirementsPrior experience in construction site supervision or construction management.
• Good understanding of civil construction activities and building work.
• Ability to independently manage contractors, labourers and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
• Must be disciplined, punctual, sincere and hardworking.
• Should have a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Must be comfortable with extensive fieldwork and travelling between construction sites.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site requirements simultaneously.

6. Salary & CompensationSalary: NO BAR FOR THE RIGHT TALENT.
