Job Purpose

To attend service calls, site inspections, installation support, maintenance activities, and technical troubleshooting related to Electric Hoists and Cranes. The role requires regular site visits, customer interaction, and preparation of service reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Visit customer sites for dimension measurement and technical assessment.
2. Attend service and breakdown calls independently or along with the service team.
3. Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Electric Hoists and Cranes.
4. Identify technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
5. Prepare and submit detailed service reports after completion of site work.
6. Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules and technical requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working at sites and heights.
8. Support installation, commissioning, and testing activities when required.
9. Maintain service records and update management on work progress.
10. Travel to customer locations as per service requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of Electric Hoists, Cranes, and Material Handling Equipment.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights and industrial sites.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Service Engineer, or in a similar field service role.
• Experience in Hoists, Cranes, Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Machinery, or Maintenance Services will be preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Valid 4-Wheeler Driving License.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and site visits.
• Experience working at heights.
• Physically fit for field service activities.
