Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary

The Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily accounting and financial operations. The role involves handling member-related transactions, expense tracking, and assisting in financial reporting to ensure smooth financial management of club activities.

Key Responsibilities

• A detail-oriented Accounts Executive to run day-to-day accounting, keeping the books accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Record transactions, post journal entries, maintain ledgers, and support month-end and year-end closing.

• Accounts Payable: Verify vendor invoices against POs and GRNs, process payments, and track due dates.

• Accounts Receivable: Raise invoices on time, follow up on dues, and maintain ageing reports.

• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform bank, cash, and intercompany reconciliations and assist with MIS reports and basic financial statements.

• Compliance & Taxation: Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.

• Other: Manage petty cash and expense claims, support payroll inputs, and flag discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com/M.Com Experience

• 2 - 4 years of accounting experience Skills

• Accuracy, numerical ability

• time management

• Tally/ERP skills

• GST/TDS knowledge

• Strong Excel

• Nice to Have: E-invoicing, e-way bills, GSTR-2B reconciliation, audit support exposure, and relevant industry experience.
