Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Title: Business Development Associate / Field Sales (FoS) Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru Industry: Fintech (Supply Chain Financing & Credit Solutions)

Role Overview: Quid is hiring a field-led Business Development Associate to acquire, onboard, and activate shop owners across assigned market beats in Bengaluru. You will own the entire merchant lifecycle—from the initial shop visit to driving completed onboarding and first transaction activation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Acquisition: Execute daily beat plans, conduct shop visits, and build a pipeline of qualified merchant leads.
• Pitch & Onboard: Present Quid’s credit products to shop owners, manage registration, and collect complete KYC/documentation.
• Activation & Retention: Guide newly onboarded merchants through their first transaction and conduct follow-ups to encourage repeat usage.
• Issue Resolution: Liaise with credit, operations, and support teams to resolve onboarding/transaction blockers promptly.
• Reporting & Discipline: Maintain daily field visit records, track lead status in CRM/apps, and adhere to compliance/KYC guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Prior field sales, merchant acquisition, or shop-level onboarding experience.
• Industry Preference: Background in B2B marketplaces (e.g., Flipkart Wholesale, BigBasket, Udaan) or Fintech/Credit platforms (e.g., Rupifi, ePayLater).
• Skills: Strong field pitch ability, objection handling, local language fluency, and digital comfort (CRM apps, WhatsApp, spreadsheets).
• Education & Ownership: High execution focus, field persistence, and self-driven attitude.

Key Performance Metrics:

• Planned vs. completed shop visits
• Quality of onboarded & approved merchants
• Onboarding-to-first-transaction speed & activation rate
• Total active transacting merchants and repeat volume
