Job Title: Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance

➡️ Role Overview :

The Senior Accounts Manager leads day-to-day accounting operations, financial governance, statutory compliance, payroll execution, and executive MIS reporting. This role requires advanced spreadsheet modeling skills to automate reporting workflows, deliver actionable budget variance insights, and maintain watertight internal financial controls.

➡️ Key Responsibilities :

Financial Accounting & General Ledger

✔️Oversee end-to-end accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), fixed asset accounting, and bank reconciliations.

✔️Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures, ensuring strict adherence to standard accounting frameworks (GAAP / Ind AS / IFRS).

✔️Liaise with internal, statutory, and tax auditors to ensure prompt resolution of queries and timely audit sign-offs.

➡️ MIS, Budgeting & Financial Analysis

✔️Design, generate, and present monthly/quarterly executive MIS packs, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.

✔️Perform detailed budget vs. actual variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities across departments.

✔️Track critical business metrics (DSO, burn rate, operating margins, working capital cycle) to support executive decision-making.

➡️Advanced Excel & Data Analytics

✔️Build dynamic, automated financial models, reporting templates, and executive dashboards using Power Query, Pivot Tables, dynamic arrays, and nested formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP).

✔️Streamline recurring data consolidation from multiple ERP/CRM systems to eliminate manual intervention.

✔️Implement macros or automated data flows to audit and reconcile large transaction volumes.

➡️ Payroll & Statutory Compliance

✔️Supervise full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, reimbursements, full-and-final settlements, and deductions.

✔️Ensure strict statutory adherence across Direct and Indirect taxes, withholding taxes (TDS/WHT), Provident Fund (PF), ESIC, Professional Tax, and GST/VAT filings.

✔️Manage timely advance tax computations, annual tax returns, and compliance certifications.

➡️ Team Leadership & Process Control

✔️Mentor, train, and manage a team of accountants, payroll executives, and billing specialists.

✔️Establish robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal financial controls to mitigate operational and fiscal risks.

➡️ Requirements & Qualifications

✔️ Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA in Finance / Master’s in Commerce.

✔️Experience: 3-5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

✔️ERP Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Tally Prime.

✔️Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, large dataset handling, Power Pivot/Query, data validation, automation).

✔️Compliance Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of local tax laws, labor codes, and statutory reporting standards.

✔️Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities.
