Store Manager

Job Title: Store Manager – MAXON SUPER MART

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of MAXON SUPER MART. The candidate should have strong experience in retail/supermarket operations, team management, sales growth, inventory control, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing.
• Lead, supervise and motivate sales staff, cashiers and other store employees.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets and work towards increasing store footfall and revenue.
• Monitor Grocery/FMCG, Home Care, Ladies, Kids and Men’s Wear sections.
• Ensure proper product display, merchandising, pricing and promotional offer execution.
• Monitor stock availability, inventory movement, replenishment and stock discrepancies.
• Supervise billing counters, cash handling and daily closing reports.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, productivity and duty allocation.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Management for stock requirements and fast/slow-moving products.
• Minimize stock loss, damage, expiry and pilferage.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and overall store presentation.
• Prepare and review daily sales, stock and operational reports.
• Take ownership of overall store performance and continuously work towards improving sales and customer experience.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager in a supermarket, hypermarket, departmental store or organized retail.
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
• Good understanding of retail sales, inventory, billing and store operations.
• Target-oriented with strong problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
• Basic computer/POS knowledge.
• Candidates with experience in Grocery/FMCG, Fashion or multi-category retail will be preferred.
