Job Description
The main duties and responsibilities of a Counter Sales Representative include:
- Greet and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Understand and determine the customers’ needs and suggest appropriate products or services
- Provide information on product features, pricing, and after-sales services
- Answer customer queries regarding products or services
- Process transactions, handle cash, and maintain accurate records
- Arrange merchandise on counters or shelves in an attractive manner
- Conduct stock inventory and ensure that the counter is well-stocked at all times
- Handle customer complaints professionally and refer complex issues to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the counter and store
