Job Description

Picker – Job DescriptionJob Title: Picker

Department: Store Operations / E-commerce

Industry: Retail / Supermarket

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick products from shelves as per customer orders.
  • Ensure the correct product, quantity, size, and variant are picked.
  • Check products for quality, expiry, damage, and freshness.
  • Scan products using a handheld/POS device and update order status.
  • Pack the picked products properly and hand them over for dispatch/delivery.
  • Maintain proper shelf arrangement and product availability.
  • Coordinate with the Store, Inventory, and Delivery teams.
  • Handle customer orders within the defined TAT/SLA.
  • Report stock shortages, damaged products, and inventory mismatches.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow store safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support other store activities as assigned by the Store Manager/Supervisor.

Eligibility:

  • 10th / 12th / Graduate.
  • Freshers can apply.
  • Basic smartphone/computer knowledge.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
