Job Description
About the Role
As our Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO Focus), you will plan and execute search engine optimization strategies that improve rankings, organic traffic and lead generation for both our client projects and Sardiwal Tech itself. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zirakpur, Punjab.
What You Will Do
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Optimize pages on-page: title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and image alt text
- Run basic technical SEO audits covering site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, sitemaps and schema markup
- Handle local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Build off-page authority through backlinks, directory submissions and guest posts
- Create SEO-friendly content briefs in coordination with writers and designers
- Monitor performance with Google Analytics and Search Console, track keyword rankings, and prepare regular reports with clear, actionable insights
- Work closely with designers, developers and project managers so websites and applications are SEO-ready from launch
- Support social media and other digital growth activities
- Research industry trends and Google algorithm updates, and identify new channels for organic growth
Requirements
Must Have
- Approximately 2 years of hands-on SEO experience across on-page, off-page, technical and local SEO
- Strong keyword research and content optimization skills, with the ability to improve rankings and organic traffic
- Web analytics skills, including Google Analytics and Search Console, to track performance, interpret data and make data-informed recommendations
- Experience with Google Business Profile management and local SEO
- Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS and CMS platforms such as WordPress
- Clear, professional communication skills for working with team members and clients, including regular reporting
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Good to Have
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs or Ubersuggest
- Experience with social media marketing, paid advertising (Google Ads) or marketing automation
- Familiarity with Canva, email marketing platforms, or AI-assisted content and SEO tools
