Associate Consultant - Adv tech (Gurgaon)

About Advisory Tech

The Advisory Tech team are the UK Technology Transformation team for Advisory, responsible for developing the KPMG Insight Platform (‘KIP’), which provides the technology to support the delivery of KPMG services.

KIP is the primary data management and analysis platform used in Advisory engagement delivery, supporting complex analytics and the sharing of deliverables with Clients through a secure portal.​ The KIP Analytics team sits within Advisory Tech, supporting the development of the analytics side of the platform and the delivery of client engagements.​

 The role will be based out of any of KPMG’s offices (Gurugram /Bangalore)  and liaise with KIP Analytics team within Advisory Tech.

Diving into the key activities and expectations for this position, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of data-driven solutions using Power BI/Fabric, collaborating with consulting teams, end users, and developers to transform business requirements into impactful analytics products. Key responsibilities include:

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

•Gather and refine business requirements with consulting teams, end users, and stakeholders.
•Translate analytical needs into intuitive and business-focused solutions.

Analytics Solution Delivery

•Collaborate with developers and technical specialists to design and deliver Power BI/Fabric solutions.
•Configure, customise, and support development of dashboards for consulting engagements.

Quality Assurance & Insight Generation

•Review dashboards for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with underlying financial and operational data.
•Translate complex data into clear, client-ready outputs and insights.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

•Drive improvements in usability, adoption, and efficiency of analytics solutions.
•Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI, and adapt to new tools and methodologies.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

•Post-graduate in Finance / CA (Fresher).​
•Good understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and management accounts

Analytics mindset

•Interest in analytics, data, and emerging technologies, including AI, with a willingness to explore how these can be applied in a consulting context.​
•Experience or familiarity with Power BI for data visualisation and reporting
