Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Construction Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based at Bangalore, India.

About the Position: Junior level construction supervision person required to Support the Senior Technological Site Supervisor in ensuring timely and quality execution of project deliverables in compliance with HSE requirements, and monitor suppliers to identify risks and opportunities at an early stage.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure timely preparation and issuance of all technology-specific construction documents, including Responsibility Matrix, Work Plan, Interface Matrix, Procedures, Protocols, Risk Assessments, Handover Documents, and other related deliverables, in compliance with project and category requirements.
- Ensure quality of construction works by verifying compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project plans, and promptly address any deviations.
- Support material receipt, inspection, storage, and handover activities to ensure availability and proper control of project materials.
- Maintain accurate site records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to support effective project monitoring and control.
- Ensure continuous updating of work progress tracking tools and all construction records required by the Construction Manager.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements for all deliverables, promptly identify and report any actual or potential non-compliance, and implement corrective, mitigation, and preventive action plans.
- Generate value by reviewing constructability and lessons learned and applying good engineering practices and expert judgement.
- Ensure regular monitoring of contractor performance to achieve scope, cost, schedule, and quality requirements as per project objectives.
Key Experience Preferred: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Railway Signalling site installation and project execution activities.
Key qualifications preferred: Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
