Job Description

Senior Associate - Product Delivery, ISO20022 & Transformation

Shape the future of payments by helping deliver transformation that improves data quality, automation, and client outcomes. Join a global team where you will build sought-after delivery skills while partnering across product, technology, and operations. Bring your organization and communication strengths to work that supports industry change at scale and accelerates career growth and mobility.

As a Senior Associate, Product Delivery at JPMorganChase within Commercial Investment Banking's Payments Rails unit, you will support product delivery execution across strategic initiatives and regulatory or industry change, with an initial focus on the ISO 20022 payments messaging standard. You will partner with global and regional execution teams and collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Technology, and Operations to drive disciplined execution, clear reporting, and effective issue management. You will help maintain delivery plans, coordinate working sessions, track milestones, and produce status updates while supporting dependency, risk, and stakeholder management across a complex organization.

This role supports foundational change across domestic and cross-border clearing, enabling richer payments data and stronger automation across payment processing. You will gain exposure to how product and regulatory delivery is executed across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups. You will contribute to improvements in client experience and operational effectiveness by strengthening delivery discipline, transparency, and follow-through.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities for ISO 20022 adoption initiatives, including task tracking, milestone management, and documentation across workstreams.
  • Maintain integrated delivery plans, timelines, and delivery artifacts to support alignment to business objectives and market or regulatory deadlines.
  • Facilitate governance routines by scheduling forums, capturing decisions and actions, and driving closure on commitments across stakeholders.
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions in RAID logs, escalating impacts and slippage through established channels with clear recommendations.
  • Produce concise, timely status updates and reporting for delivery leads and stakeholders, highlighting progress, blockers, and upcoming decisions.
  • Support requirements and evidence gathering for market or infrastructure deliverables, coordinating inputs and sign-offs with local product partners.
  • Document issue triage outcomes by clarifying impact, owners, next steps, and due dates, and drive action tracking through closure.
  • Identify recurring delivery pain points and propose practical process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and transparency.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Experience supporting project delivery, product implementation, or change execution in financial services or a similarly complex environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining delivery artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, action logs, and status reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders, including scheduling working sessions and following up on commitments to closure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating discussions into clear actions, decisions, risks, and issues.
  • Demonstrated organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management concepts in delivery execution.
  • Client and business outcome orientation, with the ability to connect delivery progress to operational or client impact.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in payments, clearing, or cash management product delivery.
  • Exposure to ISO 20022 adoption or migration activities.
  • Experience operating within formal governance routines (steering forums, working groups, decision logs).
