Ignition Developer

Area(s) of responsibility

As an Ignition Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SCADA/HMI and MES solutions using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and Sepasoft MES modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Ignition.
  • Design and implement user interfaces using Perspective and Vision modules.
  • Configure and manage Alarm Notification, Reporting, and WebDev modules.
  • Integrate with PLCs and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT).
  • Develop Python scripts and SQL queries for backend logic and data manipulation.
  • Implement MES functionalities using Sepasoft OEE and Track & Trace modules.
  • Configure and deploy Ignition Gateways and Edge devices.
  • Conduct system testing, commissioning, and support.
