Process Overview

Global Information Security (GIS) – CST – DEA - MDT (Model Development Team) focuses on building end-to-end AI/ML/Gen AI based cybersecurity models and supporting third-party security vendor integrations. Core responsibilities include maintaining an innovative development backlog to protect the bank from cyber threats, preparing comprehensive model documentation to meet regulatory compliance and governance requirements, and collaborating with GIS LOB partners and external vendors to support diverse internal and vendor-based models.

 

Job Description

Key individual contributor responsible for supporting the design, evaluation, and governance of advanced technology solutions across information security, data analytics, and Generative AI domains. Apply deep analytical expertise and business understanding to assess system behavior, validate model outcomes, and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, and risk management frameworks. Contributes to the lifecycle of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including use case evaluation, implementation oversight, and ongoing performance monitoring. Ensure that deployed solutions remain effective, explainable, and fit for purpose while safeguarding organizational assets. 

Responsibilities 

• Support the assessment, validation, and governance of AI/ML and Generative AI use cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise risk standards. 

• Evaluate model and system changes to determine impact on performance, outputs, and intended use, ensuring consistency with approved implementations. 

• Analyze system outputs, patterns, and trends to identify deviations, validate expected behavior, and support performance optimization. 

• Contributes to the design and review of thresholds, guardrails, and control mechanisms to balance effectiveness, risk coverage, and operational efficiency. 

• Participate in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and governance frameworks for AI/ML/ Generative AI, and information security solutions. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, risk, and business stakeholders to ensure responsible and secure adoption of AI-driven capabilities. 

• Support documentation of use cases, model changes, assumptions, and validation outcomes in line with audit and compliance requirements. 

• Provide analytical insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement of AI/ML/Gen AI security models. 

 

Requirements

Education: B.Tech/B.E/M.B.A/ M.E. / M Tech / M.S/M.B.A 

Certification If Any

Experience: 8 to 10 years

Foundational skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities 
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and emerging Generative AI technologies (for example LLMs, Agentic AI, prompt design, embeddings, and retrieval frameworks) 
• Familiarity with model governance, validation practices, and responsible AI principles 
• Knowledge of information security fundamentals and risk management concepts 
• Ability to interpret model outputs and translate findings into actionable insights 
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Good experience in model development, with exposure to AI/ML/Gen AI, analytics, and cybersecurity domains 

 Desired skills 

• Exposure to AI/ML/Gen AI implementation frameworks, use case evaluation, or AI governance processes 
• Familiarity with enterprise tools and platforms used for analytics, monitoring, and model deployment 
• Understanding of ethical AI considerations, including bias, explainability, and transparency 
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies
