Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The opportunity

We are looking to build a dedicated to support a leading alternative investment / private markets client. This team will play a critical role in delivering high-quality finance, fund accounting, credit operations, and client reporting services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established service-level agreements. The team will collectively support end-to-end Credit Finance and Client Reporting activities, ensuring seamless service delivery and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Finance Operations

• Perform end-to-end accounting and finance activities for private credit and alternative investment funds.
• Maintain loan portfolios, investment schedules, and debt instrument records.
• Process loan drawdowns, repayments, interest accruals, fee calculations, and covenant-related activities.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual fund closes.
• Reconcile cash, loan positions, investment balances, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and validate NAV-related calculations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audit requests and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure adherence to client-specific accounting policies and internal control frameworks.

Client Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investor/client reporting packages.
• Generate portfolio performance reports, exposure analyses, capital activity summaries, and management reports.
• Perform data validation and quality checks before report distribution.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather reporting inputs.
• Support ad-hoc reporting requests from clients and senior management.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery against agreed SLAs.

Data & Systems Management

• Maintain and update transactions within Investran and Geneva.
• Reconcile information across accounting systems, portfolios, and reporting platforms.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA Finance will be an advantage.

Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in credit finance, fund accounting, and client reporting.
• Strong understanding of private credit and investment operations.
• Exposure to alternative investments, private debt, or credit funds preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Geneva.
• Fund accounting and investment accounting expertise.
• Credit finance and loan administration knowledge.
• Financial statement preparation and review.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Data reconciliation and reporting experience.
• Understanding of alternative investment structures, including private credit, direct lending, and debt funds.

Ideally, you’ll also

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting private equity, private credit, hedge funds, or alternative asset managers.
• Knowledge of capital calls, distributions, waterfall calculations, and investor reporting.
• Exposure to workflow automation and reporting tools.
• Experience working in global delivery or shared services environments.
• US Visa Holder with 5-8 years of finance experience will be an added advantage.
