Lead - Design Coordination
Responsibilities
| 11 | Key Stakeholders |
| 1. Internal – Projects, Design, PMO, Procurement, Quality, Safety and SBU leadership teams 2. External – MEP/structural/facade consultants, PMC/GC, labs, vendors and authorities |
| 12 | Deliverables / Responsible for (results) |
| 1. Define MEP design standards, performance specifications and review checklists for building services and engineering systems. | |
| 2. Review design basis reports, load calculations, schematics, layouts, equipment selections and GFC packages for completeness and compliance. | |
| 3. Ensure coordination of MEP with Architecture, Structure, Facade and BIM teams to eliminate clashes and access/maintenance issues. | |
| 4. Validate statutory and authority compliance for fire, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related engineering systems. | |
| 5. Support value engineering and system optimization with quantified impacts on capex, energy, maintenance and performance. | |
| 6. Review critical shop drawings, material submittals, deviations and commissioning plans before execution and handover. | |
| 7. Support consultant and vendor evaluations for technical capability, solution suitability and lifecycle performance. | |
| 8. Maintain MEP design risk register, lessons learnt and MIS on reviews, non-conformances and closure actions. | |
Qualifications

| Essential | B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical |
| Desirable/Preferable | M.Tech / PMP / certifications in BIM, QS, quality, contract administration or specific design domains. |
| Work Experience (Cumulative) | |
| Total Years (Band) | 6-12 years |
| Years (Relevant) | 3-8 years |
| Seniority (desirable) | Lead / assistant manager |
| Types of Organization | Real estate developers, EPC / PMC firms, design engineering consultancies and large project organizations. |
| Types of Sector | Real estate, construction, infrastructure, hospitality and mixed-use developments. |
| Variety of experience | Technical design, costing, BIM, quality systems, innovation and contract administration. |
| Qualitative aspects | Should bring strong technical depth and translate standards into usable execution frameworks. |
