The Release Manager Infrastructure and Network serves as a leader responsible for defining governing and continuously maturing the global release management framework across data center infrastructure and network platforms This role provides strategic oversight and endtoend governance for releases spanning compute storage backup operating systems hypervisors and network technologies This role ensures predictable auditcompliant lowrisk releases with nearzero incidents due to changes The role acts as a key interface between infrastructure engineering operations network security and change governance teams

Responsibilities

EstablishEvolve release management framework for infrastructure and network domains

EstablishImprove release processes release calendars and governance mechanisms aligned to enterprise change management standards

Own endtoend release management for infrastructure and network changes

Own release readiness from a process and risk perspective

Drive release intake scoping and work with technical teams on mapping dependencies

Identify and mitigate risks that could impact release scope schedule or quality maintaining a proactive approach to problemsolving

Partner with technical teams to ensure change tickets rollback planning and dependency mapping are done correctly

Maintain release documentation including deployment plans change logs and postimplementation reviews for internal auditing

Govern CAB interaction ensuring correct routing and technical details are shared

Lead stakeholder communication including prerelease notifications status updates and completing reporting

Track and report release metrics

Drive continuous improvement in release management through retrospectives

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related fields with 1012 years of professional experience in release change project management IT operations or infrastructure network program management

Extensive experience managing largescale global infrastructure or network releases

Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and network environments including compute storage backup OS virtualization and networking concepts

Proven experience working with ITSM ServiceNow including change release and CAB processes

Experience governing releases across multiregion multiplatform environments

Strong understanding of infrastructure and network risks resiliency and operational readiness

Proven track record of governing complex infrastructure or network releases with minimal operational impact

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines simultaneously

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills including executive level interactions

ITIL V4 Foundation PMP Agile certifications are preferred
