Admission Counsellor

Position: Overseas Career Counsellor

Department: Student Recruitment & Admissions

Organisation: German University – Regional Office, India

• Key Responsibilities: Counsel students regarding higher education opportunities in Germany.
• Guide students on German university programmes, admission requirements, eligibility, and application procedures.
• Assist students with course selection, university applications and admission documentation.
• Explain tuition fees, scholarships, living expenses, and study opportunities in Germany.
• Guide students on IELTS, MOI, and German language requirements, wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with university admission teams for application processing and offer letters.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
• Support students throughout the admission process until enrolment.
• Achieve student recruitment and admission targets.
• Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or student recruitment preferred.
• Knowledge of the German higher education system and admission procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good student counselling and relationship management abilities.
• Strong follow-up, coordination and target-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

Preferred Candidate: A motivated and student-focused professional with a genuine interest in international education, particularly German higher education, and the ability to guide students towards suitable academic opportunities in Germany.
