Work Location & Deployment Plan

• Selected candidates will initially work at the Kanhai Foods Limited factory in Changodar, Ahmedabad, for the first six months.

• After completing six months, candidates may be assigned to an outstation kitchen based on business requirements.

• Candidates must be willing to work at an outstation kitchen after the initial six-month period.

1. Position: Cake Chef (Specialty & Designer Cakes)

Salary Budget: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and creative Cake Chef experienced in making designer, special and fancy cakes, including shaped cakes, semi-fondant cakes and fully fondant cakes.

Key Responsibilities – Cake Chef

• Prepare shaped cakes, designer cakes, special-occasion cakes and fancy/customised cakes.

• Create semi-fondant and fully fondant cakes with neat finishing and attractive designs.

• Handle cake baking, layering, filling, frosting, covering, decorating and final presentation.

• Follow design requirements and maintain consistent quality, taste and appearance.

• Maintain hygiene, food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen and while handling ingredients.

• Use baking tools and equipment safely and manage ingredients with minimal wastage.

• Coordinate with the kitchen team to complete orders on time.

Candidate Requirements – Cake Chef

• Hands-on experience in shaped cakes, semi-fondant cakes and fondant cakes is essential.

• Strong cake decoration, finishing and presentation skills.

• Ability to prepare special, fancy and customized cakes independently.

• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety and proper ingredient handling.

• Portfolio or photos of previous cake designs will be an advantage.

2. Position: Kitchen Helper

Salary: To be discussed based on experience and suitability

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to assist the Cake Chef with preparation, kitchen operations and other day-to-day kitchen work.

Key Responsibilities – Kitchen Helper

• Assist the Cake Chef with preparation and decoration work as instructed.

• Arrange and measure ingredients and keep baking tools and equipment ready.

• Support routine kitchen tasks, including basic preparation, cleaning and organizing.

• Wash utensils, trays and equipment, and maintain cleanliness of workstations.

• Store ingredients properly and follow hygiene and food-safety practices.

• Help with packing, moving and organizing cake orders when required.

• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or supervisor.

Candidate Requirements – Kitchen Helper

• Willingness to learn and assist with cake preparation and general kitchen work.

• Hardworking, punctual, responsible and able to work as part of a team.

• Basic kitchen or bakery experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Must be willing to work at the factory initially and at an outstation kitchen after six months.
