Job Description
Pre & Post-Shipment Documentation: Draft and verify Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin (COO), Shipping Instructions, Bills of Lading (BL/MBL), and Insurance Certificates.
Banking & LC Management: Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation under UCP 600 guidelines. Coordinate with banks for document negotiation, Swift copies, and e-BRC (Bank Realization Certificate) closures.
Customs & CHA Coordination: Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHA) for shipping bill filing, ICD/port clearance, and factory/ICD stuffing procedures.
Logistics & Freight Negotiation: Negotiate sea/air freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders. Track container bookings, vessel ETA/ETD, and port movements.
Client & Internal Alignment: Provide shipment tracking updates to overseas buyers and coordinate with internal production, packing, and finance teams in Ahmedabad.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain records for Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, Advance License schemes, and DGFT/Foreign Trade Policy guidelines.
