Digital Marketing Team Lead – SEO

Job DescriptionBAAGUL LLP is looking for a Digital Marketing Team Lead – SEO with at least 1 year of practical experience.

The candidate will manage a team of approximately 3–4 SEO Interns, assign daily backlink and SEO tasks, review their work, and take responsibility for improving the organic rankings and traffic of multiple company projects.

We are looking for someone who understands how websites rank on Google and can plan and execute complete SEO strategies.

• ResponsibilitiesManage and guide 3–4 SEO Interns.
• Assign and monitor daily backlink targets.
• Review backlink quality and daily reports.
• Plan SEO strategies for multiple websites.
• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Handle On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.
• Improve website rankings and organic traffic.
• Plan internal linking and website structure.
• Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings and content.
• Identify SEO issues and coordinate with developers/designers to fix them.
• Perform website audits and technical SEO checks.
• Monitor indexing, crawling and sitemap issues.
• Build and manage different types of quality backlinks.
• Plan content based on keywords and search intent.
• Coordinate with content writers.
• Monitor rankings, traffic and SEO performance.
• Prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports.
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profile / Local SEO when required.
• Handle basic social media activities across major platforms.
• Coordinate social media posting and content distribution.
• Keep up with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Team Lead ResponsibilitiesThis is not only an individual SEO role.

The candidate should be able to:

• Manage 3–4 interns
• Explain tasks clearly

• Track team performance
• Solve interns' SEO-related doubts
• Ensure reports are submitted correctly
• Take ownership of assigned websites and their rankings
• Experience & RequirementsMinimum 1 year of practical Digital Marketing / SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of how Google ranking works.
• Must have worked on real websites.
• Should be able to explain SEO results achieved on previous projects.
• Previous experience managing interns/junior team members is preferred.
• Good communication and team-management skills.
• Comfortable handling multiple websites simultaneously.
• Must be willing to work from our HSR Layout office.

Important: We are looking for someone with strong practical SEO knowledge who can manage a small team and take responsibility for website rankings, not someone with only theoretical Digital Marketing knowledge.
