Data Analyst Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern to support our data management and analysis activities. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing data to generate useful insights for business and education-related operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple sources.

• Clean and validate data to identify errors, duplicates, and missing information.

• Analyze data using MS Excel and Google Sheets.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly data reports.

• Create tables, charts, summaries, and dashboards based on business requirements.

• Identify trends, patterns, and important insights from datasets.

• Monitor and analyze leads, admissions, sales, website, and other business data.

• Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets regularly.

• Perform data comparison and reconciliation between different sources.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.

• Assist in competitor and market data analysis.

• Support management with data-driven reports and insights.

• Verify the accuracy and consistency of data before reporting.

• Coordinate with research, counseling, marketing, and management teams for data requirements.

• Assist in identifying opportunities and problems through data analysis.

• Perform internet-based data collection and data compilation tasks as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / pursuing graduation in any discipline.

• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Basic understanding of formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and charts.

• Good numerical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to identify patterns and trends in data.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools is an advantage.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Own laptop and internet connection are preferred.

• English + Hindi / regional language preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• 3 Months Internship Period

• Performance-based incentives during internship

• After successful internship completion: Permanent role with salary ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 based on performance during internship

• Hands-on training in data analysis, Excel, reporting, dashboards, CRM data, and business analytics
