Job Description
Looking for a Hub manager for a EV scooter rental company who will own the responsibility of the hub. Grow along with the company ( promotions based on performance as the company size grow )
- 2–4 years in fleet/rental/automobile/logistics operations
- Experience managing 2–5 people
- Basic mechanical understanding of two-wheelers/EVs
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets and a fleet-management app
- Good Hindi + English; Kannada & Tamil is a bonus
- Can deal with customers during pickup/return
- Commercially minded — willing to call/meet local businesses and generate rental leads
Responsibilities:
Manage overall hub operations and facility.
Manage scooter check-in/check-out operations.
Ensure fleet availability and readiness for rental.
Supervise and coordinate mechanics ( initially 2).
Monitor scooter maintenance, repairs and service schedules.
Manage scooters, keys, tools and spare-parts inventory.
Conduct vehicle inspections and document damages.
Handle customer queries and on-site issues.
Maintain hub cleanliness, safety and security.
Generate local rental leads and support lead conversion.
Build relationships with nearby businesses, PGs, hotels, colleges and offices.
Maintain daily operational and fleet reports.
Monitor hub KPIs and ensure adherence to company SOPs.
