About the Role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Video Editor – AI & Performance Creatives to create engaging reels, promotional videos, product explainers, and performance marketing ads for Lokal Jobs.

The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, creative thinking, and hands-on experience with AI-powered video tools. You will own the video creation process from ideation to final delivery, focusing on engaging content that drives user engagement and conversions while supporting other Lokal products as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit reels, promotional videos, product explainers, and performance marketing ads for Lokal Jobs.
• Brainstorm video concepts, creative hooks, and campaign ideas.
• Manage end-to-end video production, from ideation to final delivery.
• Use AI tools for video generation, visual creation, and content optimization.
• Apply storytelling, transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound design.
• Create video variations for different platforms and audience segments.
• Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, and emerging AI tools.
• Optimize videos using performance insights to improve engagement and conversions.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to deliver quality videos on time.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing, short-form content creation, digital advertising, or performance marketing creatives.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, reels, promotional videos, social media content, or performance marketing ads.
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools is mandatory, particularly for video generation, visual creation, voiceovers, and content production.
• Ability to use AI tools to develop concepts, generate video assets, create variations, and accelerate production workflows.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, hooks, pacing, transitions, motion graphics, sound design, subtitles, and visual continuity.
• Understanding of performance marketing creatives and how video content can support engagement, user acquisition, and conversions.
• Ability to independently take a video brief or initial idea and turn it into a compelling final output.
• Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong command of English and at least one regional/native language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to create content relevant to Indian audiences, particularly Tier-2 and Tier-3 users.
• Flexibility to support video production requirements across multiple Lokal products based on business priorities.
