We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Videographer / Video Production Associate to bring the Lokal Matrimony experience to life through high-quality video production. The role involves shooting engaging UGC videos, product explainers, promotional reels, and performance marketing ads that connect with audiences, communicate the product’s value, build trust, and drive engagement and app installs.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Videographer / Video Production Associate to support end-to-end video production for Lokal Matrimony’s marketing and content initiatives. The role requires practical knowledge of camera operations, lighting, audio, framing, composition, and visual storytelling, along with the ability to collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to produce high-quality video assets for digital platforms. Candidates should be comfortable working on shoots, managing equipment, capturing multiple takes, and supporting post-production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

● Shoot engaging Reels, YouTube Shorts, UGC videos, product explainers, and promotional video ads for Lokal Matrimony.

● Set up and operate cameras or smartphones, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production equipment.

● Manage framing, composition, camera angles, focus, exposure, and audio quality to ensure high-quality footage.

● Collaborate with content creators and scriptwriters to execute scripts, direct on-camera presentations, and capture multiple takes.

● Support the production of performance marketing creatives for platforms such as Meta, Instagram, and YouTube.

● Assist with video editing, trimming, transitions, subtitles, sound cleanup, and basic colour correction.

● Adapt video formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions for different digital platforms and campaign requirements.

● Organize, label, store, and maintain raw footage, edited videos, and other production assets.

● Ensure production equipment is handled properly and shoot setups are completed efficiently.

● Work closely with content and marketing teams to meet production timelines and creative requirements.

Requirements

● Freshers, interns, and experienced candidates with an interest in videography and video production can apply.

● Knowledge of cameras, smartphones, lighting, microphones, framing, and composition.

● Basic understanding of video shooting, visual storytelling, camera angles, and shot planning.

● Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.

● Ability to collaborate with on-camera talent, content creators, and marketing teams.

● Understanding of vertical video formats such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and UGC-style ads.

● Hindi and English communication skills; Kannada or other regional languages are an advantage.

● Creativity, attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and willingness to learn.

● A portfolio, showreel, or sample video projects demonstrating practical skills is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

● Interested in shooting short-form videos, creator-led content, and digital advertising creatives.

● Comfortable working in an office-based production environment and supporting regular video shoots.

● Able to translate scripts and creative briefs into engaging visual content.

● Willing to learn new production techniques and contribute to improving video quality and production efficiency.

● Interested in consumer apps, digital content, and creative storytelling.
