About the RoleMurugan Idli is looking for an experienced and skilled Chinese Master to manage Chinese food preparation, maintain food quality, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Indo-Chinese cuisine and the ability to prepare dishes consistently while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare a variety of Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes, including noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, starters, soups, gravies and main courses.
• Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking, stir-frying, deep-frying and other Chinese cooking techniques.
• Prepare sauces, marinades, gravies and other ingredients required for daily operations.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation and portion sizes.
• Ensure timely preparation of orders during peak business hours.
• Follow standard recipes, portion controls and food cost guidelines.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor the freshness and availability of ingredients and coordinate stock requirements.
• Minimise food wastage and ensure proper storage of raw materials.
• Coordinate with kitchen helpers and other team members for smooth operations.
• Assist in developing new dishes and improving the existing Chinese menu.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Chinese and Indo-Chinese cuisine.
• Expertise in preparing noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, Chinese starters and gravies.
• Good wok handling and cooking speed.
• Knowledge of sauce preparation and ingredient combinations.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen management.
• Ability to manage orders during busy service hours.
• Teamwork, discipline and attention to detail.
• Eligibility Criteria 2–8 years of experience as a Chinese Master or Chinese Chef.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, QSRs or multi-outlet food businesses preferred.
• Ability to maintain consistent taste and quality.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
