Inventory Accountant: Focuses on tracking stock, valuing inventory, and reconciling physical counts with general ledger accounts.

Cost Accountant / Cost Control Manager: Analyzes production or operational costs, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory profitability.

Inventory Accounting Manager: Oversees multi-location inventory accounting, compliance with accounting standards (like GAAP or Ind AS), and audit processes.

Record-to-Report (R2R) / Material Ledger Analyst: Manages financial reporting relating to stock allocations, material ledgers, and financial-to-cost reconciliations in enterprise software

Reconciliation: Match physical warehouse inventory records with financial general ledger balances monthly.

Valuation: Calculate inventory value using methods like FIFO or weighted average, accounting for work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.

Cost Control: Track purchase price and manufacturing variances, scrap, and excess or obsolete (E&O) stock reserves.

Audits: Support internal and statutory cost audits by maintaining clean, traceable documentation for stock positions
