Job Title: HVAC Sales Engineer – Commercial Projects & AMC
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 2–3 years
Employment Type: Full-time
About the role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to develop new business opportunities in commercial air conditioning projects, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), and HVAC service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through architects, MEP consultants, builders, contractors and facility managers.
- Develop and maintain B2B client relationships.
- Identify commercial HVAC project opportunities and conduct site visits.
- Prepare quotations, BOQs and commercial proposals in coordination with the technical team.
- Follow up on enquiries, negotiate with customers and convert opportunities into orders.
- Develop AMC and preventive-maintenance business.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and submit weekly sales reports.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in HVAC sales or commercial HVAC contracting.
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, ductable ACs, commercial split ACs and HVAC services.
- Experience in customer acquisition, quotation preparation and order conversion.
- Good communication and negotiation skills in English and Tamil.
- Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu for client and site visits.
- Mechanical engineering degree or diploma preferred.
Candidates with a proven track record in commercial HVAC sales, AMC acquisition and B2B client development are preferred.
