Job SummaryResponsible for carrying out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of restaurant equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and other facilities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance

• Attend to electrical breakdowns, lighting, switches, sockets, and wiring issues.
• Maintain electrical panels, MCBs, and other electrical installations.
• Ensure electrical safety and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

2. Kitchen Equipment Maintenance

• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of dosa plates, grinders, refrigerators, freezers, exhaust systems, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and coordinate with external service providers when required.

3. Plumbing & Civil Maintenance

• Attend to water leakage, drainage blockages, taps, washbasins, and plumbing issues.
• Carry out minor civil repairs, painting, carpentry, and fixture maintenance.

4. Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections of restaurant equipment and facilities.
• Maintain daily maintenance checklists and breakdown registers.
• Identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent operational disruptions.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure proper handling of tools and maintenance equipment.
• Follow electrical, fire, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report major breakdowns, equipment damage, and repair requirements to the reporting manager.
• Eligibility & RequirementsITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in hotels, restaurants, or commercial kitchens.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Ability to attend emergency breakdowns and support restaurant operations.
