Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts & Finance Manager to manage and oversee the complete finance and accounting operations of The Maark Trendz. The role involves financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, banking, audit coordination, MIS reporting, working capital management and financial controls across the organisation.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, finalisation of accounts, banking, audits, inventory accounting, receivables/payables and financial reporting, along with proven experience in managing an accounts team.
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete accounting and finance functions of the organisation.
- Supervise day-to-day accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers, books of accounts and supporting documents.
- Prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and other financial statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closing and finalisation.
- Manage GST compliance, including GST return preparation, reconciliation and filing.
- Handle TDS compliance, deductions, payments, returns and related documentation.
- Coordinate Income Tax return preparation, assessments, notices and related compliance.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and other financial professionals.
- Manage banking activities including CC/OD limits, term loans, EMI payments, bank reconciliation and documentation.
- Prepare cash-flow statements, fund-flow statements, MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including outstanding follow-ups and ageing analysis.
- Monitor daily cash flow and ensure optimum utilisation of working capital.
- Review purchase, sales, expense and payment processes to maintain strong financial controls.
- Oversee accounting related to showrooms, manufacturing operations, inventory and multiple business locations.
- Coordinate with stores, purchase, sales, HR and management teams for accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor stock accounting and support periodic stock reconciliation.
- Prepare stock statements, CMA data and financial information required by banks.
- Review payroll-related accounting and ensure compliance relating to PF, ESI and Professional Tax, where applicable.
- Ensure proper documentation and control of invoices, vouchers, bills, receipts and payment records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, financial risks and control gaps and take corrective action.
- Support management in budgeting, cost control and financial decision-making.
- Develop and maintain accounting procedures, internal controls and approval systems.
- Lead, supervise and review the performance of the accounts team.
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports and compliance-related information to management.
- Handle departmental notices, assessments and queries from statutory authorities in coordination with consultants.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and business information.
